Moog Music synthesizers are designed and lovingly handcrafted in the Moog factory in downtown Asheville, N.C.
In 1964, Bob Moog changed the future of music when he unveiled the Moog Synthesizer, an instrument that opened the doors to the infinite possibilities of electronic sound. For over 50 years, Bob Moog’s synthesizers have been used to forge new ways forward; empowering the experimental avant-garde sounds of the 1960s, electrifying funk and disco during the 1970s, enabling new-wave in the 1980s, and anchoring the sonics of techno and hip-hop in the 1990s. Today, the sounds of the synthesizer are as ubiquitous in music as the human voice.
DFAM® is the first addition to the Mother-32 family of synthesizers and presents an expressive hands-on approach to percussive pattern creation. It requires no patching, and absolutely no experience is needed for human-beings of any age to quickly begin synthesizing new and unique rhythmic compositions.
